If Irish music could ever be described as rock and roll then this is it. Legends in the trad scene and a great choice as opening act. Seen them play too many times…. genius! They’ve never played with the stone roses but the set for the night will go a little like this….. avec 5,000 volts!!

But none the less, 13 is now the amount of days left until the Dublin Twestival… exciting aint it.

So what has happened this week? Quite a lot to be exact!

New sponsors came onboard to support the Twestival and Concern Worldwide and we even hand some audilicious news, with the news that not one … not two …. but three fantastic bands will now provide the perfect theme tunes to this year’s Dublin Twestival!

So, if you haven’t bought your ticket yet then I casually direct you to here to make sure you don’t get left outside on what is going to be an amazing night!

After talking with the guys in the Dublin Twitter Festival team, being part of this event looked like a great fit and knowing that all funds from this event were going directly to Concern Worldwide and being administered straight to the people who need them was something that really made sense for us to get involved with this year.

We hope that everyone has a super night out on the 25th of March and we will all be on hand to help make this a Twestival to remember!

Friday afternoon in twitter towers was much like any other, until shocking news started to come in to our twitter stream. In fact it was so shocking that one of our designers passed out, clean straight out…

What you may ask was this shocking news that had unfolded in front of this poor souls eyes, who only moments before was thoroughly engrossed in his weekly design blog…. well…. the title of this post points to the culprit… or rather… culprits.

Friday afternoon saw American twestival organisers lay down a challenge which can be seen here, however, if you are of a faint disposition (as per our now recovering deisgner mentioned above) then we have sumarised their taunt into the next paragraph…

We over here at San Francisco (twestival organsier’s) don’t like to brag about how amazing we are, but have you seen our amazing sponsors lately?

However, that’s not really the point - we would like to issue a challenge to all other Twestival Cities. The challenge you ask?

Let’s see who can raise the most money before March 25!….
